Pico / Veteran Senior Housing —
Zev Yaroslavsky Apartments
Los Angeles, CA

On February 15, 2011, MHF welcomed residents who moved into their new apartments on Pico Boulevard at the intersection of Veteran Avenue in West Los Angeles. The building consists of 46 one-bedroom units with a spacious ground floor community room and second floor outdoor patio. Located near many neighborhood services and retail establishments, the property offers convenient access to a variety of services and a major bus route along Pico Boulevard.

At its Grand Opening in April 2011, the building was named in honor of Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky, who was instrumental in achieving the development of the site formerly occupied by a large, unsightly and vacant masonry County building. Menorah Housing Foundation’s modern, attractive residential property now improves the local neighborhood and serves the needs of low-income seniors.
