On March 1st, 2009, MHF completed construction of Long Beach Senior Housing near Atlantic and Willow Streets, in the Central Long Beach Redevelopment Project Area. The project includes 66 new apartments, community rooms, outdoor decks, and offers convenient access to many nearby services. A major bus route on Atlantic Blvd. and the nearby MTA Blue Line Metrolink Station provide public transit throughout the region.

Long Beach Senior Housing responds directly to the City of Long Beach’s highest priorities of rental housing affordability, increased housing supply, and neighborhood revitalization--located on an urban infill site adjacent to public transit and local services.


Pico - Veteran Senior Housing
Los Angeles, CA



In July 2009, Menorah Housing Foundation began construction of its newest building at the corner of Pico Blvd. and Veteran Av. in West Los Angeles. Funded by the County of Los Angeles, the City of Los Angeles Housing Department, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the building will provide 46 new apartments for very low-income seniors. It will also include the headquarters office for Menorah Housing. The building is scheduled to be completed by March 2011.
