For almost three decades, Menorah Housing Foundation has managed affordable senior housing and provided an array of supportive services in all MHF properties. Recreational activities, tenant entertainment programs, and resource and referral options are provided to residents by Menorah Housing Foundation management staff. Supportive services such as Case Management, needs assessment and counseling programs are coordinated by Menorah through existing community service providers.

Through MHF’s many years of experience in managing affordable senior housing, the supportive needs of tenants are of utmost importance. Menorah’s successful HUD funded Service Coordinator grants allow Menorah to offer professional social workers to building residents.

MHF also contracts to provide a variety of services at its properties. On-site activity programs, English language classes, computer training, legal assistance and financial planning for seniors promote empowerment and a sense of community among building residents. A comprehensive Case Management/Support Services Coordination Program allows tenants to remain independent in their own homes as long as possible, and creates a supportive environment for the many MHF tenants that live alone.
